Matsy`s Restaurant & Lounge in Ontario

The restaurant looked very unassuming from the outside, with no indication of what kind of food they serve. We took a chance on it and were pleasantly surprised. The lunch menu was heavily geared towards Chinese food. The prices were very reasonable. I ordered a huge bowl of vegetable noodles for $7. All the veggies were very fresh and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I also got a side of fries which were some of the best fries I've had in a long time. My friend ordered one of the daily specials. A teriyaki chicken dish, I think. He said it was very good. All the food was made to order and we both cleaned our plates/bowls. The soda I ordered was kind of flat and the vegetarian selection was sparse. Otherwise, I would give 5 stars.They also do catering.

The service was great the food was excellent. The only complaint I would have is that they charged me more than what the menu said for the dish that we ordered. Otherwise fantastic!

Friendly service, good portions of tasty food

Marci is the best. She knows what we like to drink, and brings it before she even comes to our table. The food is always great.

Never had matsy's before but decided to cave in and try them out after all the things I've heard. I ordered the chicken friend steak with a side order of fries. The meat was perfectly cooked and the presentation was very professional. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The server was very professional and paid attention to detail very well. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food wasn't very good. Fried rice is just stuff thrown into steamed rice and to many hard pieces of rice. Egg roll wasn't the best and the sauce was ok. The only good thing was the service. I will not be going back to eat here because there is better Chinese places.
